Zines 2023

The following zines were produced by students in HIST 3113: No Future: The History of Punk at the University of Cincinnati in the Fall of 2023. The assignment asked students to pick a theme that related to the material we covered in class and produce a zine that included a variety of short writings focused on the theme. They were asked to demonstrate what they’ve learned in the class, their talents as historians, and their creative spirit.

[Note: For purposes of peer review, I asked everyone to anonymize their submissions, asking them to identify themselves by a number rather than name. While the numbers still appear on the zines, the authors’ names have been listed here.]
